Description

The WORX WA0892 OFF-LIMITS Module creates a virtual fence / boundary around areas of your lawn without the need to disturb your main boundary wire installation.

Create temporary no-mow zones around newly planted areas or seasonal items like trampolines, kiddie pools, or outdoor furniture. Move the magnetic strip with the changing seasons, and your Robot Lawn Mower will adapt accordingly.

The Magnetic Strip (20m included) is easy to cut and position around your desired no-mow zone/s, however, there are a few tips to follow for best results.

MAGNETIC STRIP:

  • Must be laid at least 2meters away from your boundary wire
  • Laid on the FLAT SIDE
  • Laid in a closed circuit
  • Laid in a circular or elliptic shape (avoid straight lines and corners of all sorts)
  • Must NOT cross the boundary wire with the magnetic strips
  • Avoid laying where LANDROID can slip (eg. areas with slopes).

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The WORX LANDROID Cut-To-Edge function won’t work around the Off-Limits Magnetic Strip.
  • The WA0892 Off Limits module is ONLY compatible with LANDROID Model WR149E (700m2). Click Here for our OFF-LIMITS module that is compatible with WR139E, WR140E, WR150E model’s.

It’s also great for making areas of your lawn temporarily off limits. For example, with seasonal equipment like a trampoline, if you move it, just move the digital fence with it.

Or, you can make a permanent change to your lawn without disturbing your original Android boundary wire. Just place the OFF limits sensor on-board your Android and surround areas with digital fence strip (20M included).

Lets you create boundaries around Off Limit areas of your lawn without having to use your main boundary wire. This is a great option for seasonal décor, lawn furniture, and other non-permanent objects.

How it works
The Off Limits option comes with two pieces: a sensor for your Landroid, and a digital fence strip. Landroid’s sensor detects the magnetic strip you put around Off Limits area, and steers clear.
